Welcome back to a quick post on one of my retired “favs”.   Love Cardinals! Each spring and summer one family visits my feeders and claims it as their territory. During the winter many cardinals come to feeders as they are not as territorial then.

I made this card for one of my granddaughters.   She came over this past weekend to help me bake and sort through oodles of cards (more than I realized I had!) for my Christmas Open House’s this week.   She requested a card for one of her teachers who happens to share my love of cardinals! (After all it is Ohio’s State bird.)

Everything but the stamp set is available to purchase now.   Always Artichoke and Crumb Cake combine well on this rustic card.  The Copper Trim was stretched out slightly to add to the rustic look while adding some shine and a drop from the fine tip glue pen not only add dimension but shine to the berries.

I did not add a sentiment to the inside of the card yet as I want Kendall to pick one out.   She will be back this weekend to bake more pumpkin rolls, this time to give to her teachers.  I am certainly blessed to be able to spend time with our two granddaughters who live in the area and are the main reason we moved from northeastern Ohio to the Cincinnati area.  Okay enough of this “glamma” rambling on about her glamkids 🙂

Hope your day is being blessed.

Until next time…
